About Allison

I have spent a lifetime following curiosity.

Growing up in a military family, constant movement shaped my understanding of change from an early age. It taught me that circumstances are temporary, identities evolve, and a life fully lived requires the capacity to remain present through transition. That perspective continues to inform how I work today.

My practice is grounded in presence, discernment, and a deep respect for lived experience. I am both spiritual and pragmatic, intuitive and systems-aware. I trust embodied knowing and symbolic meaning, while remaining fluent in research, leadership, and organizational complexity.

Over the past two decades, I’ve worked across philanthropy, nonprofit leadership, entrepreneurship, facilitation, and coaching. I’ve moderated public conversations, including political debates and panel discussions, where clarity, neutrality, and steadiness are essential. Earlier in my career, I founded an international apparel company that was later acquired—an experience that gave me firsthand insight into growth, transition, and the inner recalibration such moments require.

Breath and presence have been central threads in my life and work since my Pilates teacher training in 2002. Since then, I’ve continued to study and integrate embodied practices, reflective inquiry, and symbolic frameworks, not as techniques to be applied, but as ways of listening more carefully—to oneself, to others, and to what is emerging.

I do not offer formulas or prescriptions. Instead, I create conditions for clarity. My work supports people in moving beyond inherited expectations and “shoulds,” reconnecting with their own internal authority, and choosing from alignment rather than obligation.

Much of this work involves grief—the quiet grief of outgrowing identities, releasing roles, or letting go of paths that once made sense. I hold space for that process with steadiness and respect, trusting that clarity and direction emerge when we slow down enough to listen honestly.

I am known for being a calm, grounded presence in complex moments. I work with a small number of individuals and organizations each year, primarily through referral and invitation, and my engagements are intentionally spacious, relational, and deeply personal.

I live in Aspen, Colorado, where time in the mountains is part of how I stay attuned to my own rhythm and to what matters. Outside of my work, I can often be found hiking or Nordic skiing with my standard poodle, Zulu, or enjoying the rare and treasured moments when my teenage daughter agrees to a road trip or a shared afternoon of making.

Working with Allison over the last year has been life-affirming. She's helped me soften my inner critic, reflect on what I really want to invite into my life and, most importantly, given me so much space to just be me… in all my messiness.  In this and more ways, she's been an integral part on my journey towards self-love."

“Allison has the ability to see clearly exactly what is impeding with your growth and peace. Her questions get directly to the core of blockages. Within a week of one of our sessions, my life felt completely different in several ways. ”
